Dr. Perriello grew up in Charlottesville, Virginia. She graduated from Princeton University, where she played field hockey and lacrosse. After medical school at George Washington University, she completed residency at Children’s National Medical Center in Washington, D.C. For two years after residency, she was a staff physician at Children’s Hospital of Boston before moving home to join Pediatric Associates in 2008. Dr. Perriello is interested in general pediatric and adolescent medicine, with special interests in sports medicine/concussion management and newborn/breastfeeding issues. She enjoys seeing the second, third and fourth generation of patients that her father cared for as a founding doctor at Pediatric Associates. Dr. Perriello serves on the board of the VA-AAP as well as U.S. Lacrosse Sports, Science and Safety Committee.
Dr. Perriello and her husband have three daughters.
