Originally from North Carolina, Lisa received her BSN at Vanderbilt University and Pediatric Nurse Practitioner degree from the University of Virginia.  Upon graduation from UVA, she worked as a nurse practitioner for 12 years at the Kluge Children’s Rehabilitation Center.  In 1990 she joined Pediatric Associates.  Working with babies and mothers became her passion.  She went on to become a lactation consultant and specialized in this area of practice for over 25 years.  Lisa has 3 children and 2 adorable young grandchildren.  She enjoys working out, hiking, reading, cooking and travel.
